HCS honors students for academic performance

Scholars AwardsHorry County Schools honored hundreds of students at the annual Scholars’ Awards Banquet. Students from throughout the county were recognized as South Carolina Junior Scholars, Duke Talent Identification Program (TIP) Scholars, Johns Hopkins Center for Academically Talented Youth Scholars, Governor’s School Scholars, SAT Scholars, Palmetto Fellows, National Merit Achievement Scholars, as well as high school valedictorians and salutatorians.
