More than 11,000 students get H1N1 shots at school
During the first school-site vaccination clinics held in three decades, more than 11,000 students received the H1N1 immunizations. Participation rates range from 44 percent at the primary level to 14 percent at the high school level. Nationally, 21 percent of school-aged students get a vaccination for the seasonal flu. Here is a quick summary of the percentage of students who received their H1N1 shot at school:
- Primary - 44%
- Elementary - 36%
- Intermediate - 41%
- Middle - 30%
