Five Horry County Schools’ students are among 71 South Carolina high school seniors in this year’s graduating class that have gone to school through their entire academic careers without missing a single day. This accomplishment amounts to 2,160 consecutive days of attendance in grades 1-12.
Honorees are: Kevin Daniel Kern and Colton James Monahan of Conway High School and Ashlee Lynn Conrad, Charles Edward Grace, and Angela Renee Webb of Myrtle Beach High School.
Students were recognized for perfect attendance at graduation ceremonies and each received certificates and congratulatory letters from State Superintendent of Education Dr. Jim Rex.
Since 1979, seniors with 12 years of perfect school attendance have been recognized by the South Carolina Department of Education.
