The Association of School Business Officials (ASBO) International has awarded Horry County Schools’ Division of Budgetary Services the Meritorious Budget Award for its 2009-2010 annual budget. This is the 16th consecutive year the District has earned this prestigious award which reflects the commitment of a governing body and staff to meeting the highest standards of school budgeting.

ASBO International, founded in 1910, is a professional association, which provides program and services to promote the highest standards of school business management practice, professional growth, and the effective use of education resources.
