South Carolina scores on federal math tests change little, remain near national averages

South Carolina student performance on standardized mathematics tests required by the federal No Child Left Behind Act changed little between 2007 and 2009, the U.S. Department of Education announced today. The state’s fourth- and eighth-graders remained at or near national averages.
