The Horry County Board of Education recognized 11 students for having perfect attendance at its January 25 meeting. The students were honored for not having missed a single day of school in grades 1-5, 1-8, or 1-11. The students attended school for 900, 1,440 or 1,980 days, respectively, without an absence. Honorees for grades 1-5 received a certificate and a medallion; grades 1-8 received a certificate and a $50 savings bond; and grades 1-11 received a plaque and a $100 savings bond.
The 2009 perfect attendance honorees are:
Grades 1-5: Eboni Selena Calwise and Brittany Marquita Rutledge-Jackson, North Myrtle Beach Middle School; Whitney Dairty Legrys Martin, Loris Middle School; Carson Gray Hardy, Ocean Bay Middle School; and Miles Thomas Waddell, Conway Middle School;
Grades 1-8: Crystal Meagan Pee, Aynor Middle School; Nicholas Andrew Rosaforte, Early College High School; Hannah Catherine Edwards, Daniella Shawna Patrick, and Alison Raina Soles, Loris High School; and Kennedy Allyce Hayes, North Myrtle Beach High School; and
Grades 1-11: Salenia Michelle Temoney, Green Sea Floyds High School.
